Meet Meg...
My Story |
I've lived in Bendigo my whole life, and had a passion for working with animals and children since I was a child myself. I focussed on Visual Arts throughout high school, but photography was always my favourite, learning both traditional darkroom methods as well as digital editing.

After high school I studied for four years at Latrobe University to become a primary school teacher, keeping my main focus on visual arts teaching. After another few years out in the teaching world, carrying my camera with me on weekends, holidays and any other chance I could get, I became increasingly aware that photography was my true passion. I dabbled in event photography, I've even tried my hand at wedding photography, but neither of those styles really grabbed me. That's when I decided to combine my love of animals, children and family life with my passion, and so became Meg West Photography.
