This week I would like for you all to meet Letty. The sweetest little dog who is looking for her new home. Letty is so loving, and cuddly, any one would be lucky to have her as a companion. If you want more information about adopting Letty, contact Jemima's Gift Inc.
This week I would like to introduce this scruffy little ewok, Pippa. Pippa is a mix of something fluffy and something tall, and growing up with Staffordshire bull terrier, Jet (from week 22) She has plenty of personality! She loves a cuddle as much as she loves a rough and tumble with her kennel mate and she spends her days on a large property with scenic views of horses in paddocks and plenty of bunnies to chase.
This week's lovely old boy is Patch, a bitser of working dogs. Patch is getting on in years and slowing down, so his family decided to have a photo shoot while he still has a bit of spark left in him. As soon as I picked up his old tennis ball he was ready to pose for the camera, and then when we brought out the ham, well, then he was happy to do anything for me! Here he is, our dog for week 30, Patch.
I met little Bruce the other week whilst photographing a foster. I only got a couple of shots of Bruce playing tug-o-war but he was too cute not to share for dog of the week. He is quite the character, lives with a couple of little fluffy ladies and is a total snuggler! I very much enjoyed his company along side me during my shoot. Meet Bruce!
This week we have a couple of adorable adoptables! Meet Benji and Sherbet! These cute little brothers have already got bundles of personality, Benji (the tan coloured pup) is ready for anything, loves to play and chase and explore, as puppies do. Sherbet (the little black and white brother) is a bit more of a softy, he loves a cuddle and he uses those big puppy dog eyes to get what he wants. No one is really sure what these puppies are a mixture of, but no one can deny that they are very cute, with their wire hair fur and their long legs, it is assumed that they will grow up to be medium sized dogs. These guys are adoptable through Jemima's Gift Inc.
This week I am introducing you to a special little girl, named Boss. Boss is such a sweet natured, beautiful little wriggler, full of kisses and love and excitement - a total bundle of joy! I honestly wish we had room to take her in at home, I think she would have fit beautifully into our pack. Boss is in need of a home, she is available for adoption from Jemima's Gift Inc. I think Boss will fit in well with any sort of family, she is just lovely. Oh and don't let those bully looks deceive you, she is tiny! Her actual breed cross is unknown but it is assumed, Staffordshire Bull Terrier X Chihuahua!
Wow! we are just about half way through 2015, and I only have another 26 dogs to go! This week we have a beautiful old gentleman, Wolf, or Wolfie. Wolf is a typical Australian Kelpie, he spends his days rounding up his very own sheep (Golden Retriever, Braille from week 19) Wolfie loves to chase and jump for his ball, and he enjoys meeting new friends to herd wherever he goes. He is a cuddly fellow who is always there when you need him. Without further ado, here he is! I thought I should just add a bonus photo of his sheep, Braille, since she was a good sport while all attention was on her older bro! (bit of weight in your step there Braille!)
This week has been super busy so I'm posting a summer throw back. This is Jedda, my grandparent's beautiful little Corgi. Jedda loves to travel around the property in my Grandfather's ute as he stops for odd jobs on the farm, she also sometimes takes her self for walks to visit neighbouring relatives and doggy friends. But most often, if you're looking for her, Jedda can be found curled up, warm and snug, underneath my Grandfather's reading chair.
Wow! This week has been fun! So many kittens and puppies to play with... I have had a great few days. But now it is time to introduce one of the sweetest little faces in out dog of the week series, Eddie! Eddie is a snuggly playful ball of fluff Labrador puppy! At 10 weeks old he is winning hearts all around him, and is sure to keep his family of two adults and three young boys on their toes. What a gorgeous little man.
Cats! Kittens and cats!
Recently I have teamed up with a local rescue in an attempt to help find all of their little adoptable's loving homes. Jemima's Gift Inc. was recently launched in Bendigo, Victoria and they are already inundated with many foster cats needing to find their forever homes. Over the weekend, I was invited into the homes of some of the foster carers to photograph these cats. I met, and photographed over 20 cats, some of them shy, some of them totally in your face, all of them adorable and needing homes. If you are looking to adopt a new pet, or want to learn the stories behind each of these cats and kittens, head on over to Jemima's Gift Inc. for more information. |
