The final week for 2015! I hope every one has had a great year and has enjoyed watching my photography page grow and seeing all of the beautiful puppies that I have photographed for this project. I wont be doing a dog a week next year as I have now picked up a 12 month teaching contract, so along with that and building our dream home on a couple of acres in Kangaroo Flat, 2016 is looking to be a very busy year. I will try to keep up my photography, honouring any vouchers sold over the Christmas period, fitting in shoots on the weekends and coming up with little projects here and there. Any how, enough about me, for our final week I always knew it would be my baby boy Russell (Pickle has already featured this year but she is making an appearance for this Christmas special too)
despite having a photographer for a human, they don't overly enjoy my Christmas shoots, but they tolerate them so I am thankful for that!

These guys are also brother's to Scooter who was our man for week five. The personalities of these brothers couldn't be more varied, Patchy's life revolves around food, he is a big dopey dora and he loves to sneak a cheeky tongue kiss to any one who gets close enough. Then there is Spuddy, who is affectionately nick named Mother Teresa, which comes from the way he loves to tuck himself away under a blanket and when you call him he pops his head up as if he is wearing a catholic nun's habit. Both of these puppies personalities shined through today when I photographed them... Spud hiding away in his kennel and Patch looking at me with those "food?" eyes.

Ollie, Teddy and the biggest and youngest of them all, Murphy.
Teddy and Ollie are both energetic and happy little cavoodles, and Murphy is their big, dopey little brother, a 14 week old labradoodle. They make an awesome trio and are lots of fun.

With their adorable short statures and their high energy, it made for an entertaining shoot. Kez and Daryl were also fantastic models, so I photographed the whole family. Thanks to these fuzzy ones for being my dogs for week 49!

Meet Pepper, the 8 week old Golden Retriever pup! She is a honeymoon baby for newly-weds Clare and Ryan and is just about the sweetest little pup I have met, with her wispy fuzzy fur and her clumsy little legs... I had fun photographing her.

Week number 47 brings a charming old man who I have been wanting to photograph for a while, Chopper is a 10 year old Staffordshire Bull Terrier who has nothing but love and patience for every one around him. We met at the dog park in Bendigo for a relaxed shoot and a play with the other dogs. Chopper loves the dog park. Here he is:

As with a lot of dogs, Holly was the first child/grandchild in her family, spoilt rotten, she had toys and comfy beds at her house, and toys and comfy beds at her grandma's house where she was often babysat. Now Holly shares her home with two human babies as well! but that is not to say she is any less loved or spoiled. Holly is a very happy little Beagle. Here she is:

Especially one as cute as little Alice with her fierce underbite and her big shining eyes. Alice is just superb. True to her Jack Russell breed, she is tenacious and independent already at only 11 weeks old. And she has definitely made herself at home, cuddling with her doggy sister, Layla and her cat siblings as well.

Layla was rescued as a young pup from Second Chance Pets Bendigo a few years ago. She is a mixed breed working dog and when you look into her eyes you can see that intense Kelpie gaze. Layla is a real water babe, she loves snapping at the water from a hose and trying to eat her own splashes as she swims around. She is a stunning girl and she shares her home with two cats, Hamish and Cat Benatar and little pup Alice, who you will meet in the coming weeks.
